Adventure Ocean Youth Program
especially for Royal Caribbean’s young cruisers
What is Adventure Ocean? It's a complimentary program specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun. Every cruise is different. But one thing never changes: your child will get to learn about local customs, do cool science experiments, and make great new friends. To participate, children must be three years of age and potty-trained (no pull-ups or diapers). You can feel confident leaving your children with Royal Caribbean’s staff because every member of their Adventure Ocean staff holds a college degree in education, recreation, or other related field, or has qualified-equivalent experience working with children ages 3-17. Family vacations will never be the same again. With Adventure Ocean, you can do stuff as a family, plus parents get a little free time to themselves - and kids get some time to have their kind of fun. That includes special kids-only meals, a TV station with programming just for kids, lots of great play areas, even a nightclub for teens. Royal Caribbean cruises are designed to bring families closer together and for EVERYONE to have the time of their life!

Aquanauts: Ages 3-5
The "Aquanauts" program has been designed specifically for toilet-trained children ages 3 to 5. Activities include: Story time, face painting, dress- up days, Building Blocks, Ring-Toss, Art Sculptures, Bingo, Obstacle Races, Sing-a-longs & more. A professional certified youth staff member is always on supervision. Please note that "Aquanauts" activities may vary from ship to ship, and the program is not offered on the Sun Viking and The Song of America.

Explorers: Ages 6-8
The "Explorers" (6-8 yrs old) have more advanced game time. Activities include Scattegories, Win Cruise or Draw, Movies, Pizza Parties, Trashcan Art and Crazy T-Shirt Graffitti. There's also plenty of sports activities like, Shuffleboard, Ping Pong, Basketball, Ring Toss, Obstacle Courses, Golf Putting and Wacky Races. Once again, all "Adventure Ocean" activities are complete with adult supervision. Please note that "Explorer" activities may vary from ship to ship.

Voyagers: Ages 9-11
The "Voyagers" (9-12 yrs old) enjoy activities including Tattoo Time & Cheek Art, scavenger hunts, Scattegories, Win Cruise or Draw, Movies, Pizza Parties, Trash Can Art and Crazy T-Shirt Graffiti. There's also plenty of sports activities like Shuffleboard, Ping Pong, Basketball, Ringtoss, Obstacle Courses, Golf Putting and Wacky Races. Once again, all "Adventure Ocean" activities are complete with adult supervision. Please note that "Voyager" activities may vary from ship to ship.

Navigators: Ages 12- 14
Royal Caribbean's Navigators program is specially designed just for tweens. It's not some structured program of classes. You can come join activities and games when you want to, or just chill in our Living Room with your friends. And your parents won't worry about leaving you there, because every member of Royal Caribbean's Adventure Ocean® staff holds a college degree in education, recreation or other related field.

Teens: Ages 15- 17
Royal Caribbean's teen program isn't some structured set of classes or rules. They know you're almost an adult, and it's your vacation too. So they give you the freedom you deserve. You can join events all day, or come and go as you want. And Royal Caribbean has two great places where you can get away from it all. The Living Room is a laid-back place you can just hang with your new friends. And Fuel is the place where the party is. Open 'til 2 a.m., you can dance, listen to music, or just hang out there.
